The JDD Bea Upholstered 3600d Room is a premium freestanding modular meeting room from JDD Furniture's distinctive Bea range, recognisable by its iconic pitched-roof 'house' silhouette. Designed and manufactured at JDD's headquarters and factory in Dudley, England, the Bea Room delivers genuine acoustic privacy and architectural character in a single freestanding unit that installs in just one to two days - no construction or planning permission required.
This 3600mm-deep configuration accommodates 6-10 people comfortably, ideal for departmental meetings, training sessions, workshops and large team gatherings. The walls are fully upholstered on all sides.
Bea Rooms feature handcrafted FSC-certified MDF and Birch plywood framing, polyurethane acoustic foam insulation, and 10mm toughened glass with discrete black steel fixings. Acoustic performance reaches up to 32dB sound reduction - sufficient to keep confidential conversations confidential and external office noise comfortably outside.
Lighting comes from energy-efficient 36W dimmable LED strips (24V, Daylight White 2700K) with optional motion-sensor control - lights respond to movement and switch off automatically when the room is unoccupied. Ventilation uses 3 silent axial in-line fans (100 m³/h airflow each, 38dB noise floor, IP44 rated) housed in vibration-isolating elastic blocks for genuine quiet running. The grey-carpeted floor and black steel detailing complete a coherent contemporary aesthetic that fits beautifully in modern offices.
